CareerPitch – Life Sciences and Food Law
In the winter semester 2024/25, we will welcome institutions and companies to the Kulmbach campus for the very first CareerPitch – Life Sciences & Food Law. This event is specifically aimed at students in the fields of life sciences, nutrition, and food law. The participating institutions and companies come from the areas of food production, trade, supervision, analytics, and law. The dialogue with potential employers is intended to facilitate the exchange of experiences and help build connections for possible future internships or full-time positions.
The CareerPitch offers students and institutions/companies the opportunity to get to know each other directly on campus in a relaxed atmosphere and in an innovative format.

The target group of the CareerPitch includes students and doctoral candidates in the fields of Life Sciences, Nutrition, and Food Law who want to learn more about employers, career and internship opportunities in general, those actively seeking internships or part-time jobs, as well as students, graduates, and doctoral candidates preparing to enter the job market.

Basic Package for the CareerPitch
The Basic Package includes participation in the CompanyPitch, a company booth on the Kulmbach campus, catering and support during the event, as well as your company profile published for the event in our CareerPortal www.ubt-career.de.

Your company profile on our website
Would you like your company profile to be permanently featured in the CareerPortal of the University of Bayreuth as a partner company? We will display your logo, a brief description of your company, and a link to your website or career page for one year.
One-on-one meetings with selected students on campus
On the event day, we organize one-on-one meetings with students you select in advance from the applicant pool. We handle the entire organization, including rooms, scheduling, and communication with the students. Participation is limited to a maximum of 5 institutions/companies/law firms.

Place your job postings in our CareerPortal to draw targeted attention to your organization and your vacancies! You can choose between internship, student assistant position, or entry-level position.
