CareerForum – Networking Made Easy

For the past 30 years, we have welcomed companies and law firms to our career fair, the CareerForum, each summer semester. The number of exhibitors has grown steadily, and today around 100 regional and national employers are represented on campus. The dialogue with potential employers provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and establish contacts for future internships or full-time positions.

What does the CareerForum offer?

Which is better? A family-owned business? A large corporation? Or perhaps a small or medium-sized enterprise?
Students should not only engage early with their specific field of study, but also with the question of which type of company structure suits them best. In Upper Franconia in particular, there are numerous “hidden champions” – some even global market leaders – that are not necessarily widely known. The more specialized the products, the less familiar these companies are to end consumers. Especially in such settings, young professionals often find excellent opportunities for personal and professional growth.

At the same time, companies gain access to young graduates eager to apply their skills and full of motivation. Enthusiasm and passion are highly valued here and can be put to good use. Recruiting professionals directly from the university saves costly advertising and recruitment processes – a win-win situation for both sides.

Basic Package for the CareerForum

The Basic Package includes a booth on campus, full catering and support during the fair, your company profile on the CareerForum homepage of the University of Bayreuth, and the publication of 2 full-time positions and 2 internships in the University of Bayreuth’s Job Portal for the event.

Additional Offers for the CareerForum

Your company profile on our website

Would you like your company profile to be permanently featured on the University of Bayreuth Career Service website as a partner company? We will display your logo, a brief description of your company, and a link to your website or career page for one year.

One-on-one meetings with selected students on campus

On the day of the event, we organize one-on-one meetings with students you select in advance from a provided applicant pool. We handle the full organization, including rooms, scheduling, and communication with students. Participation is limited to a maximum of 5 companies/law firms.

One-on-one meetings with selected students virtually

In this virtual format, about two weeks after the event, we organize one-on-one meetings with students you select in advance from the applicant pool. We manage the full organization, scheduling, communication with the students, and set up the meetings via Zoom/MS Teams.

CareerDinner

We organize a dinner event tailored to your preferences and provide various options. Catering costs are billed directly by the chosen restaurant. You select participants from the applicant pool provided.

Advertisement in the CareerWeeks folder

Place an image ad in the CareerWeeks folder to draw attention to your company! You can choose between inner pages, inside cover pages, or the back cover. Availability is limited.
